I'm watching Bush on TV, and I can only think of one thing....

Bush has the personality of a dead fish.

He seems more subdued than he usually is. He might be being very careful not to spit out another Bushism.

Looks like one slipped through.

Have a very nice day.

I can't watch him. My blood pressure goes so high I can feel my pulse in my face.

Bushism? You mean like, "... they misunderestimated me..."

At least you can poke a dead fish. That's always fun for a bit.

I don't think Bush is a bad fellow, not by any sense of the word, but for god's sakes, I make better speeches when I announce the next Mock Trial meeting during lunch. The man has the stage presence of a peice of road kill.[/i]

Bush is not a bad fellow, but, going by economic downfall, he is the second worst President the U.S. has ever had. He has the worst economic record since the period of the Great Depression.

Could we leave out Clinton's dishonesty and take out Bush's fudamentalism while we're at it?

Your average senior-class president is a better public speaker. The Republican party fucked up.

Hell, I have seen Chimpanzees convey messages with superior clarity.

I'm sure we've had worse recessions, like the one during the Carter years, or the one after the Gulf War that cost Bush Sr. the 1992 election.

Anyway, I don't think I'm that great of a public speaker, but I'm sure I could do a better speech than Bush. But at least I'm not absent-minded enough to look at a demilitarized zone through binoculars with the lens caps on.

At least he's doing a good job of staying "on message"

This was embarrasing. Don't get me wrong, I support bombing Iraq but good God Bush is awful when he's on camera.

Well, according to MSNBC, "W" has the second worst record of any U.S. president.

Remember that one question?

"The Vietnam War cost 50K American lives...Vietnam has not yet ever threatened America...how do you know you're not making the same mistake?"

"Saddam is a threat to America."

"But how do you-"

"Next question!"

I'm trying to find some detailed transcripts of the press conference Dubya gave a few hours ago.

One of the questions was about "what if Iraq becomes a new vietnam" kind of thing.

Dubya went on to detail exactly how Iraq WOULD be the next Vietnam both politically and militarily, then asked for the next question... What an idiot.

I did not see the conference, but heard it on the radio.

He sounded more subdued, but I think he is getting advice to tone down his speaking style. In the past he came of sounding like a cowboy or something.

I noticed he avoided stating wether or not the killing or capture of Sadam is a component of victory.
