My avatar is very, very ugly. I am deleting it now, but wish to replace it. Seeing as so many of you folks have great avatars, I am curious at to whre people find good pics.

Just do a google or mamma search for an image of whatever you want your avatar to be and I'm sure you'll find something.

I really like mine now. It's from my webcam. All you need to make one is a cat and a hat.

Yes, it is. In fact, it took me a good minute to figure out I was looking at a Starfury.

Of course, maybe if you ever...you know, sent me that pic you were talking about this would already be resolved.

Its the Avrocar it was supposed to fly at an altitude of 3000 feet but it did`nt succeed but it was a cool toy for the time. you can see it at the Smithsonian

I used a picture of a Stryker and then made it small enough to fit.

I just finished reading William Gibson's latest, "Pattern Recognition," where a Russian mafia don uses a claymore to assassinate an opposing crime boss, and the mine is described as being shaped like a thick dinner plate, and his avatar looks kind of like a dinner plate. -shrug- Anyways, it's a cool avatar.

I just did some PSP on mine...

Although I have a nice collection of miniaturized aircraft pics I use at times for other stuff.
