Jurrasic Park 4 has gotten a screen writers, so we know it's coming, and the writers is complete new to the screenwriting business short of Tripoli coming out soon. I don't expect much more from this than to be better than the lost world. Atleast this one won't have a good book to shove it's bloated cock up.

JP1 was good, JP2 was crap, JP3 was good (IMHO, they should have never done JP2 and just skipped right to 3...)

I mean, this is what you call milking the franchise for all it is worth...

No, Greg's Previews(formally upcomingmovies.com) I have found is very reliable.

I really liked all the Jurassic Parks. Granted JP3 was like, short, with almost no story, it still beats the crap out of a shit load of other movies. I think they might be stretching it a bit now. Hopefully a new to the buisness writer can find an interesting a fresh look.

I don't get why JP3 was so hated. I thought it was an enjoyable action adventure movie, problematic acting aside. JP2 was embarrasingly bad, though. Steven Spielburg is going to have to make a couple more good movies in addition to Ryan, Minority Report, and Catch Me If You Can to redeem himself.

I thought The Lost World was far better than JP3.

I loved LW. The first one was just incrediable. The story was great to it as well. I think that the less of a story LW had helped it. We know how they made the bastards, we know how things got fucked up. Great, now let's see some Dinosaurs tearing shit up. That's what we got. JP 3 was great just because it left even more of the story behind, and had Dinosaurs just going fucking wild. The Raptors sort of brought it a bit down. I know thier intelligent, but at the end when they corner Grant. Oh well. Still. love em.

My theory is it's just a bunch of Hollywood copycating, right now there are several 4ths in production in one way or another, Mad Max 4, Indiana Jones 4, JP4, T4, etc.

Jurassic Park 3 absolutely sucked and when you hear something like that coming from me, you know something's really wrong with JP3.

LW was better, and JP1 was the best.

I think they should stop making Jurassic Park movies. Just my opinion.

As long as the dont pussify T REx. sPinosaurus was fucking ridiculous and I refused to see JP3 based on that ground alone.

Maybe in JP4 the Velociraptors steal credit card numbers over the internet and buy a boat then make their way to the mainland.

I was always hoping in JP3 thatit would feature Velociraptors that got loose on the mainland during the T Rex loose in San Diego thing.

The only sequels I look forward to are Star Wars, LOTR (granted, they aren't really sequels in the real senses, but whatever), and Indy.

Terminator four is really only a rumor at this point.

The best way to deal with JP4 would be to introduce something early on. While it would follow (somewhat cheesily) the continued trend of prequels, at least we might see direct confrentation between BioSyn and InGen.

But then again, I also hear they want to do something about a force of military men being deployed to the island on an extermination run.

I agree, though it seems Cameron did have a story for T3, but abandon the whole thing because he doesn't own any of the rights and didn't want to spend time on something he get little for. Of course he's now backed out of True Lies 2 because of 9/11

Though I'm also convinced Cameron went slightly insane after Titanic.

#1 rocked, #2 sucked, #3 fizzled out. And the books SUCKED.

I hope for the sake of their lives, that Spielberg and Lucas don't fuck up Indy 4, JP3 already hurt the JP franchise (please no more! Spinosaurus is OWNED by T-Rex) and T3 may just be the steaming pile of dog faeces I expect it to be.

But, if it makes some cash then Hollywood will do it.
