Racing Music

Post by Slartibartfast »

As some of you might know, I recently purchased a 1988 Mustang, complete with original cassette-player! Whoopie!

Now I'm asking, can any of you recommend good music titles that are related to racing, racing movies, etc (no Folk or Country crap though) so I can get it from Kazaa or WinmX or something and put it on tape, so I can cruise with some interesting music?

Thanks!

Shit man, that means no 'Flirtin' With Disaster'. Asshat.

I'll compile a list of songs that I play when I'm either driving, or paying a racing game. I can tell you now though, The Cardigans 'My Favourite Game' as to be there.

The first Van Halen, To live and die in La soundtrack, and the Blade soundtrack..

Could you please elaborate on this "fast stuff"? I'm not going to download every song and see which one is fast, can you give me a few titles? Thanks ;)

That movie's testosterone content was immeasurable, especially the whole "Val Kilmer locker room bite" thing. :)

The Battle theme to Gladiator and Mars the Bringer of War are equally good at being classical tracks that have some really good parts for fast driving.

What's killer is when the theme for the Battle of Endor is strumming up full beat, and your passing 18 wheelers at about 100mph. Woo.

Hey, the Taurus-Class Ford Motor Vehicle 'Big-T' has a stolen Imperial grade rear deflector sheild. I can shrug those blasts off like it was radar detection.
