Erm, lets start with the fact that Pademelons are a protected species and thus can't be commercially harvested. Next, they are barely as large as a freaking chicken. And the fact that I've never heard of a Pademelon being killed for meat...

They refuse to face the fact that kangaroos are dangerously overpopulated because it is a 'cute' animal.

I went out and killed myself a few kangaroos after that.
But honestly, this is like telling farmers not to kill rats because they're such great pets. "Well all right dearie, I've got 20,000 you can come and have for free."
