Im thinking of running for class president next yr, and have no idea how to go about it.

I ran and won election as Vice President for my residence hall in college. Served a year. I ran hall elections. Some jackass loser candidate who got hammered in a Presidential election a few months after I got my job actually managed to get a recount, and when that didn't suit him, a re-vote. Didn't make a damn bit of difference. He still got hammered by an 80-20 margin. Fucking wanker.

I showed up drunk, made a speech, got some laughs, and consequently, some votes. It helps when the two other candidates were the two most despised people in the entire dorm. Basically, I got lucky. Being the right guy at the right time helped my situation considerably.
