Child rearing, Texas style

We all know that corporal punishment is the key to producing healthy, well-adjusted adults, don't we?
It's not my place in life to make people happy. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to watch me slaughter cows you hold sacred. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to have your basic assumptions challenged. If you want bunnies in light, talk to someone else.

This is Texas you know. There, "Horrible abuse of children" is never used unless used in the same sentence as "Slap on the wrist".

Too bad Texas came back in the Union. They should have stayed their own country.

Thus leaving the United States dependent on oil imports for a much greater length of its history. I'm sure that would have really helped in the 1930's.

I, as a Texan, hope you all know that that is the exception, and not the rule, and don't seriously think that your states or provinces haven't done something just as stupid in a court ruling.

To judge an entire state on one incident is, just judgemental.

Nope, I don't think that. And I think everyone here would mock any state whenever something this stupid happens. That said, Texas seems to produce more than its fair share of stories like this.

I'm a Texan as well....and yeah, I am often amazed at the level of stupidity and ignorance I encounter here on a daily basis.

Don't get me wrong, not all of my fellow Texans are idiots...but those "good ol' boys"....they can kiss my ass.

Funny, seeing how your fellow Canadians say the same thing about you.
