Remind you of somethingGustloff Suhl Reichswerk HF 15
The HF 15 was a highly unusual gun. The round contained a single charge and seven or nine 15mm projectiles, fired in a single burst a at an extremely high (36000rpm) rate.

While this design sounds crap and indeed the Metal Storm system as of now needs more development, I'd hardly paint all of Nazi Germany with the same brush since a lot of what came out of there was very good engineering.Sea Skimmer wrote:Exactly the kind of useless crap you can trust Nazi Germany to develop.
Something being good engineering has no bearing on if its useful, some pieces of crap proved far more practical and useful then Germany's arsenal of over engineered wonder weapons. The Germans had some interesting manned rocket projects for example, with just one little problem. The pilot would sustain 20 g's for several minutes.Admiral Valdemar wrote:While this design sounds crap and indeed the Metal Storm system as of now needs more development, I'd hardly paint all of Nazi Germany with the same brush since a lot of what came out of there was very good engineering.Sea Skimmer wrote:Exactly the kind of useless crap you can trust Nazi Germany to develop.
But they were desparate in the last few months as you can see.
