That's in no way a suprise, worrying but no suprising. These Arab/Muslim fundie idiots have a ridiculous solidarity. They'd rather support a brutal dictator that pays lip service to Islam and would wipe them out in heartbeat rather than have a the western powers help them.

No matter what the US does more then enough people will hate it. I don't find this surprising or that great of a concern. Warm bodies are a plentiful asset, the resources to actually conduct attacks are not.

They're gonna have a lot of fun when they go home after the war and can't make love to their wives/girlfriends because their balls got blown off during a BUFF raid.

Did you actually read the article in question? There's nothing about the next wave of recuits going to Iraq to fight. US military can always use live-fire target practice. It surely was thoughtful of the Taliban types to provide moving targets for us early in the war, but then they must have discovered just how unhealthy a practice that was -- worse luck. Oh well, guess we'll have to play hide and go kill with them...
Could put out a notice to all Islamists:
Servants of Allah! The Great Satan would like to meet you on Battlefield [fill in location here]! We will meet you in open battle, so that you have a grand opportunity to smite the servants of evil and enemies of Allah! Come face us at [insert date and time stamp here], or your mothers are pigdogs and your fathers will be buried in swine entrails!
