Shrubby's just told Saddam to get out of town--errr, Iraq--in 48 hours or Shrubby will come out shooting.

Yep, the whole world works like the Wild West...

He also advised Iraqi soldiers not to fight for Saddam because he leads a dying regime. Too bad they aren't watching.

Have a very nice day.

I'm still in favor of a dual to settle the whole thing, but with aircraft. Each gets the best there country has to offer. So former fighter pilot Bush gets an F-22, while no formal military training Saddam gets an MiG-29.

That was pretty hilarious speach by Bush.

Some of the things he said were so hypocritical it wasn't funny.

Others were lies so blatant I laughed my ass off.

I'll go for that. Much better for two madman to kill eachother than for 10,000+ to get killed in a duel-by-proxy.

I think they heard and they might still follow Saddam`s crusade against the great satan.

He demanded that Saddam and his sons leave Iraq. Plus, I think that soldiers would interpret an order from either of Saddam's sons as the same as an order from Saddam.

The BBC has an utterly priceless picture of Shrubby on the story page:

Is that really the look of someone you'd want to trust with anything more than a blunt crayon let alone 3000 nuclear weapons?

We don't know if US officials gave a similar message to the Hussein family before Bush spoke on national TV.

Also, US aircraft have been dropping fliers urging the Iraqi soldiers not to fight for Saddam.

Small suggestion for everyone: I say we just ignore Ted and Enlightment. Nothing's going to convince them anyway.

Why not? Saddam did it before and ultimately that oil will be paying for a good chunk of the rebuilding. Not to mention it'd fuck the ecosystem all to hell as well.

The "oil is property of Iraqi people" is ridiculous.

It's under their country so there for it's their oil. Why is that so ridiculous?
