Who would you choose as a diplomat/negotiator?

Your country has to succeed in critical diplomatic negotiations, unfortunately all the available candidates for the talks have all managed to annoy people in the past. It is your task to select the best candidate. Don't forget that failure in these talks is not an option.

Jar-Jar Binks, with Beavis and Butthead as the backup. None of the others have character shields, and Binks is so lucky he might actually stand a chance.

Beavis & Butthead of course. They saved the world from a deadly superweapon in "Beavis & Butthead do America", made crude sex jokes in front of Klinton, and survived jumping out of a car on the highway among many other things. With their comedic skills and character shields, nothing is impossible.

Easily Chirac.
He's a professional. And as is typical with French diplomacy, he's as likely to be nailed to a position as jelly to a wall.
He'll outmaneuvre the other side pretty easy.
