Lacrosse, and all its coolness...

Well, I thought that I just might say this. Our team went to our first game today, and tied the state champions of last year! We're really hoping we can pull it together and go for the win this year. I was hit pretty hard in the arm during the game, and as I was checking it, I noticed a strange hardness on it. At first I thought I had damaged something pretty badly, when all of a sudden it hit me: Muscle! Holy shit! My arm is no longer the consistency of Jello, and it's not because of some malignant cancer! I'm so proud, .
Anyway, if you don't know what Lacrosse is, I'll direct you to this site: http://www.lacrosse.org/. But, a brief description can't hurt. Lacrosse, albeit its name speaks of the French, or at least the Canadians, was not created by either. In fact, it was created as a war practice/game for North American Indians. From there, French traders took it, and from there, Canadians cultivated it into the modern game it is today. It involves a lacrosse "stick" and "ball". Such creative names, . The game is quite fast paced and almost as fun to watch as it is to play. I reccommend it to anyone who's interested in nearly passing out for three weeks (Like me) before finally getting a hang of it and the conditioning it requires.
