My departure has been pushed forward to next week due to sort of personnel mix up.
Party baby.
Yep, time to kick off my boots and just wait until next Wendsday.
Funny, I was actually getting anxious to go over there.
Ah well.
Looks like I'm stuck here for another week with you freaks.

I have my fingers crossed.
But of course I won't shirk from duty if the war isn't over by then.

Keep your fingers crossed folks
is this finger crossing because you want to go or stay home? i wouldn't want to cross my fingers in the hope of you staying home if you really want to go. thats like bad karma or something.

I said I was anxious of going over there, not that I wanted to go. No one wants to go to war. I was kinda worried, in other words.

I've been hearing reports of Iraqi generals trying to cut surrender deals. The Republic Guard may be the only real resistance our troops face, and that's only when they enter Baghdad. If we're lucky, this will be a very short war.

Times of London is talking about massive surrender among the Iraqi regulars, and as much as 23% of republican guard troops defecting in some areas.

In and around Baghdad the desertion rate is lower, but even among Saddam's elite Republican Guard divisions - whose loyalty to their leader has been unquestioned until now - 23 per cent have deserted.
