Even the fucking RADIO is clogged with this shit. I mean, fine, it's important, but do you have to show/broadcast it fucking 24/7??? I can't pick up the radio broadcast of the NCSU/California game because the radio station that broadcasts it is playing the CBS feed!
I HATE WAR!!!

I was going to complain about your complaining
because I get soo sick of hearing about basketball most of the year but you make some good points.
On the way home I was listening to the radio. They talked about how CBS was likely going to pre-empt today's games and that the local WB station was going to pick up the
Arizona game. However that was nixed by ESPN. The game is supposed to be on either ESPN or ESPN2 if it isn't on CBS.
I didn't realize CBS and ESPN had any ties but I was a little cheezed about this deal because I don't have cable. Not that I was going to watch the game but I might have wanted to.
Maybe after they prove they aren't going to choke in the early rounds.

Thus the advantage of not caring about televised sports
Though that does suck for you.

They don't, but they made a deal to cover the games yesterday. HOWEVER, that doesn't begin to cover RADIO! WHY CAN'T I JUST LISTEN TO THE FUCKING GAMES?!?!?!?! Plus, I'm at work and we don't have cable here. *pout* I'm so mad.

Are you able to get any of the webcasts? I "watched" some football games this fall by watching a boar on ESPN. It's not the same as TV or Radio but it's better than nothing.

I have a POS workstation that crashes every time I try to do something. *sigh* I'm keeping an eye on the score via yahoo sports. I was trying to get my mom on the phone to get her to watch, but she was on the phone! Ugh... I'm so pissed!

Aww, poor Kelly-welly.
If I could make the nasty TV men show basketball to make you happy I would.
My army of genetically engineered monkeys isn't ready yet though.

How do you think we Aussies feel.
The World Cup Cricket has been bumped for the damn war!
I mean, yes I'll be watching SBS' BBC World simulcast, but damnit - 9 should be showing the cricket!

I couldn't care less about basketball, but LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIEN wasn't on due to the damn war. If I wasn't anti-war before, I sure as hell am now.

I agree with Robert, I miss watching the 12:30 and 3:00am showings of Conan.
Fortunately though they've been showing nothing but reurns recently, he last one I saw was rerun from last year with andy Richter as the guest.
And there is always Comedy Central's showing of Latenight.
hopefully the Simpsons will not be defiled....

As long as the weather channel works I'm not complaining, though if I start seeing hourly reports on middle-east weather I'm gonna start having issues.

CNN was actually doing that at one point, complete with time compressed maps

We don't have radio or non cable TV up here in the wilderness.
However, the annoying part is everyone asking me for Weather & War updates (somehow even on my days off the guests just KNOW that I live/work here.) no matter what I am doing or what time of the day it is (like while I have just put a fork of eggs into my mouth). I don't exactly live infront of C-span and the weather channel 24/7.

It's also funny when they ask me at work.
The TV is right behind me, where they can see it, but I can't (While working) and since the speakers are all pointing out and away from me, I can't really hear it either (So I can hear their orders)

ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK! KU!!
*ahem*
We have TVs up all over at the restaurant I work at, and to be fair, we had some tuned in to EPSN and some to Fox/CNN. An hour after we opened, customers had turned all of the TVs to war coverage.
I even changed one back to ESPN at a customer's request, but when I came back to that dining room it was back on the war news.

Bleh, clogging up the channels even though they just keep repeating the same thing they've been sayin over and over.
