How does one disable this object of Satan?
Every CS game I go in, this unholy relic somehow comes on and kills me!!

You play CS. Ew. Play a real game like DoD or America's Army. Then you won't have that problem. Somehow.

2: The keyboard
Take knife, insert under key, pop off. Done.

:edit: Play a better game while your at it too. New games can handle the windows key, and they have the benefit of better gameplay, better community, etc

My Windows Key was temporarily pried off during a LAN party, but I lost the thing, and I say good riddance, that little bastard has screwed up my computer games more times than I can count.
