For those of you who gave me ideas for my Senatorial campaign on campus, thank you. I just found out yesterday that I won the position, and am now one of three Senators from the Humanities Division. The only thing I'm nervous about is I don't know if my friend got Vice-President of Finance or not. If she didn't, she'll be in the House as Representative for Phi Sigma Tau. If she did, then there will be a small voting block of five of us who are good friends (out of the 19 votes in the Senate; 12 Senators and 7 Executive Council Members). Anyway, thanks to all of you. Just wait, I'll be asking ideas again next year when I run for Executive Vice-President.

Did I reply to your request?
Did my cutting wit and matchless insight insure victory?
Is this your first step into the soul-crushing hell of a political career?

No problem. I knew tossing a few of the counters in my trunk for a 'ride' would benefit your cause. Oh, wait, I didn't mention anything about that. Move along people, move along. Heh. Congrats though man!!

I don't remember exactly who all helped me, which is why I left it general

HELL NO! I'm doing this because nobody cares about politics here, and I was stuck in the House, which has no ability to actually change anything. The power of the purse and of legislation is in the Senate, so I wanted to get in there to actually be able to fulfill my altruistic ambitions. I mostly just want to get the slippery tile by the Cafeteria fixed so nobody else gets hurt there. The Chair of our Division fell down those stairs on Thursday, and he was annoyed. The House has been talking about that problem for four months and nothing's happened, and I'm tired of it being just talk. Besides, I'm a moderate Christian. The Christian Right's terrified of my liberal views, and the left lumps me with the right as a dangerous theocrat
