Exactly what it says, vote for our new group name for the disabled, caregivers, and family/friends of the disabled.

Voted. Once again, I'll happily mod the group.

I voted for Happy Haven. A lot of the others have an inherent negativity in them, which I find a bit odd in the context of which the group seems to be created. Furthermore, the labels present within the titles disabled and handicapped might be problematic for some people in the group.

As stated, I'm happy to run for mod.

We have rather more prospective mods than I expected, do any of you have any experience doing this sort of thing?

I've run a few forums in my time, three with over fifty people.

I promote free and open discussion, but a wide understanding of the rules.

Not much when it comes to forums, but a fair amount of time moderating an IRC channel populated largely by teenagers.

Shouldn't the group members choose it?

Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things would have been great. I voted for 3D.

I've modded a couple of small forums before, and I'm used to overseeing youth groups.

D3, of the options. Personally I'd just call us The Bloody Mooching Cripples, but then that might give the Abbot government ideas.

I suppose I prefer Handicap Haven too, if someone wasn't part of the discussion it gives them an idea what we're about.

I like EF best of the mod candidates, but where everyone seems qualified and willing I don't see any deciding factors but naked personal bias. I know EF better than the others, that's simply it.

Plus, his present av is a dalek, what better symbol? Armless, legless, with one eye and obvious developmental problems, including an obsessive focus. But they have a dream, and a will that will see the galaxy burn if that's what it takes to achieve their vision. Actually, burning the galaxy may or may not be an important prerequisite to their dream, but no one's perfect.

I suppose we can have a poll to vote on the eligible mod candidates.
