I know there's Hipper and Me.
I was just looking for an informal poll to find out how many Diabetics, or Hypoglycimics (They are related you know) there are here.

*raises hand* I've been type one diabetic since autumn 2001. So far I haven't had any big problems and I even volunteered for military service. Got accepted, though I had my doubts.

Both my grandmothers are diabetic.
Does that mean I'm at risk?
Have a very nice day.

I seem to suffer from irritability from low blood sugar, but its by no means serious. Seems to run in the family.
Doesn't do anything besides make me an asshole until I eat.

I'm not but given my family history I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

My father has diabetes. Forget what type. Also runs through my mother's family, though not as prevalent to my knowledge.

Dad has diabetes. The the type where the body has insulin, just can't use it (type 2 right?).

I'm hypoglycemic. Couple that with a low mass (150lbs or 68kg) and you can understand why I go WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE a lot! Add high-performance Espresso/Red Bull/Mountain Dew fuel and I'm capable of going at about 5x10^6 times C!

My family is pretty clean with diabetes. The youngest I know who has it is my mom's sister, and she's in her 50s and a has a litany of other health problems.

I'm fine, and it doesn't run in my family.

I'm fine, I think. I tend to have a number of other amusing health problems though, which I could describe in several paragraphs. However, I strongly suspect being a mild hypochrodiac has to do something with it.
