A recent thread has got me wondering what the ages are around here. If you would like to respond to this thread by answering the poll question above -- truthfully or not at all, if you please -- I would be glad to have your responses. If you would further like to respond with a post about your actual age, please do so, but be aware that unlike answering a poll such a response is not anonymous.

I might as well be the first: 43 years old. I believe that I'm roughly ten years older than the median age here, let's see if I'm right.

I was fifteen when I joined... Where the fuck did those twelve years go? Shit. SDN has certainly change over the years in who's still here and who has relatively joined recently. I would bet most original SDNers still here were at least in their twenties at the time though.

25 for most of a year, still feels a touch unreal though. Me as a theoretically responsible adult.

31 and I have been for several years now.

I just changed categories yesterday.

I joined back on my old Norade account back in 2004 when I was 16, now I'm 26 and hopefully a bit wiser than I was back then.

17 when I joined, 20 now. I've done a hell of a lot of growing up in those three years, and I like to think SDN helped, at least with my online maturity.

I, of course, am 28.

I first made this account when I was 18. But prior to this account I had another one that I used and eventually lost the password for (heck, at this point I can't even remember what the user-name was). I don't recall ever posting when that old account, just lurking. And even prior to that account I was reading the forums and the website. I don't know exactly when I found the site, but suffice to say that Mark Wong's "Conquest" fan fiction was still being written at the time. That must have been ... what, 2002? 2003? So I would have been around 14. Jesus. It's a really weird thought that I've been reading stuff on these forums for over a decade.

I'm 30, though I've got two months and a few weeks on Rouge, hence my comment in his birthday thread. I was 19 when I joined, though I lurked for almost a year before that. As I recall, I joined towards the tail end of the tenure of a certain Dean of the Stratigic Defens Instatute.
