Tonight's episode was just fucking hilarious, like when the series was in its prime. Anyone who saw it knows what I'm talking about.

Highlights:

A bird lands on Fat Tony's car's hood ornament. The car abruptly stops, and Fat Tony gets out and says to his henchment, "That boyd landed on my hood ornament. You know what to do." The henchment surround the bird, and one of them says, "You're gonna be suckin' worm paste tru' a straw!" and they start pummeling the bird and feathers go flying. I laughed my ass off at that scene.

It was funny.

"If only God were alive to see this!"

And then there was the documentary at the end of the film, where Milhouse says that he'll be batting .350 in the major leagues, and then it goes on to show him playing basebally, and missing all of the shots. In one, he is hitting it off of a tee, gets it to go a few feet, runs towards first base, and trips over the tee.

They've had some good ones as of late. Maybe the old horse doesn't need to be put down quite yet.

The whole thing about astronomers being hermit crabs was funny as Hell, too.

"I thought you said he was out of microscopes!"

Did you notice Milhouse's leg twitching after he tripped and knocked himself out. Pricless.

And a new favorite line of mine....

"If only God was alive to see this..." Homer Simpson.

"Wow! I love this version! God is so in your face!"
"Yeah ... he's my favorite fictional character."

"You said he was out of microscopes."

I thought tonight's episode was pretty funny, yes. But there were an awful lot of inside jokes about astronomers that I happened to catch, so that may have been why it was so funny to me.

So do they really throw microscopes at each other? :D

No, but they do move into observatories like hermit crabs. :)

Not really, but there is fairly stiff competition for time at large observatories between astronomers. So, as Durandal mentioned, they do tend to move into 'em like hermit crabs.

"I can't read prono by candlelight! Who do yu think I am, Abe Lincoln?"

I know I make a big stink about the fact that anti-war people are ufairly considered "un-American" and all, but can't we consider anyone who doesn't like The Simpsons un-American? :D
