The SDNet Civil War

As I pen this record, the HAB are withdrawing their mighty armoured forces back to their home dimension, the Monkeys are returning to their little pit of fun and debaunchery, the more psychopathic of the denizens are coming off their sugar highs, and the Black Mages, ever vigilant, are hanging up their pointy hats for the next time they are called upon.
The insanity brought forth by the day known only as 'April 1st' would long be remembered. Treachery, alliances, and dark secrets had been unveiled, and though each side was settling into the uneasy peace of the normal day, the actions of that day would be remembered. Sheppard, the False Mod, Nitram, the Black Mage, Ein, the Revolutionary Leader, and many others would recall the strange day when all alliances, all rules, all bounds of good taste were lost.
And myself, dear reader? This is where our tale must end. For when SDnet's denizens rose up once more, there would be nothing left of the universe but a hauntingly empty nothingness....

We all won today.
Or we all lost.
Hard to tell, the smoke hasn't cleared yet.

Man, this has been a WEIRD April First.
I should have just read through my client's taxe forms, but no, I hit the Favorites button.

And why wasn't I mentioned? I should have campaigned more. You'll see next year, you won't be able to move three feet without seeing the phrases "Gnome" and "Red Wings."
Either way, the Gnomanian Armies are heading back home, and the Red Wings have a Cup to win.
We may now return to our normally scheduled programming.

Bastard...I on the other hand didn't have that joy, and slogged through more mindlessness.

I Hereby Declare the SDnet Civil War to be over. I am also disbanding the SDnet Resistance and handing over control to the One True Lord Wong.

Yeah, it was weird. By the way, I lied when I said I'm a Dodge Charger.

And the minister of sin goes back to his normal sinful behavior. Casting spells, reading books, wearing blended textiles, and thinking original thought.

The trickery is complete.
We have them fooled that we have been DEFEATED!
Wait, did I just say that?

Got vaporized in the fighting. Resulting in a very big Hadoken, followed by my John-Woo-Dual-Guns-Slo-Mo-Doken. Not even Sheppard, The False Mod, could stop that.

Alright boys, back to work, we've got a Cup to win! *Red Wings skate onwards mightily, to Ottawa!*
Well, the Earth has survived this round with the Secret Gnome Revolution, but rest assured, we'll be back. *sheathes Broad Sword of Stubbiness*
All I really have to say is, it was fun.
G'night board.

Ah. Well then, it'll have to be broken in. *grabs Nitram's hat, stomps it, pulls it, and blows dust all over it* Much better.
Oh, and Nitram: get over to the FF and say something in the RPG, will ya?
