As usual I owed money on both state and federal taxes. This year, joy of joys, it's being taken directly from my checking account so I don't have to write a check.

Working out my income taxes has been pretty fun the few years, "fun" being used sarcastically of course. Let's see, I'm a Canadian citizen was living in Canada for 4 months a year while attending university and working in America for the remainder of the time. You go figure out headaches that caused.
I get about $300 back this year, real money, as in US dollars not the Canadian stuff.

Did my fed. over the net, and the state at the bank. I only got $25 taken out for e-filing and direct deposit in the federal. The state I got mailed to me.
