This was one of my favorite threads in SB.com (by the way the Warsies are beating the crap out of the trekkies right now so Mike should be happy)

Oranges would win, duh!
--I can't believe anyone would ask question where the answer is so obvious. Nevertheless, I guess I'll list the top 10 reasons why:
1. Oranges are acidic and would corrode the apples in a fight.
2. My uncle has an orange orchard and an apple orchard and he says oranges can beat apples easily.
3. I'm a fruit expert and I should know.
4. I've read numerous papers that say oranges beat apples.
5. Oranges are compartmentalized which makes them more resistant to damage from apple attacks. To verify this just peal an orange and an apple and look at them.
6. Oranges are far more complex than apples.
7. The orange peal is considerably thicker than the apple peal which means it can resist damage better than an apple.
8. Rabbits like apples more than oranges. Since animals eat the food with the least defense this proves apples are weaker than oranges.
9. Apples main defense is susposed to be the cyanide present in its seeds. However, science is "dogmatic" and "close minded." Cyanide isn't really a poison. In fact, I've eaten apples seeds before and I'm still alive.
10. Apples have a greater surface area/volume ratio than oranges which means they are more exposed to attack than oranges.

Not all together sure... I'm not even sure if this was meant as an actual battle topic or a personal taste topic... but it seems to have just gone to the silly.

Quick question:
Why do people call other people gay as an insult? Based on how you are supposed to tolerate and even accept homosexuals, there shouldn't be anything wrong with being gay. So it isn't an insult then, is it? Then what is it?
