How much does it take you to get drunk?

I was at a party last night, and I know some liquors get me drunk faster than others. For example, I get buzzed really quickly with rum, but it takes a LOT of vodka to do it for me. It takes a few glasses of beer, but quite a bit of wine.

So.. how much do you drink before you get drunk?

Note: It is not very often that I drink. The above is for example 4-6 shots of rum as opposed to 4-6 shots of vodka. Also, I have only been really sloshed once, before.

I've never been drunk before, I rarely drink, but I've gotten buzzed off a kamikaze.

I think it's a shot of vodka and lime juice, I really have no idea though.

If it's on an empty stomach then watch out! Four or five beers in a row or even funneled will do damage. Back in the day, it used to be 8 or 9 before I'd be messed up. Chalk it up to low tolerance these days.

Depends on what I'm drinking but in general it takes more than six pack of beer in the space of a couple of hours. Honestly I've only once, been more than just buzzed and that was after a night of alcohol.

Mildly buzzed

Kinda drunk

Pretty drunk

But that was back in my university days when I was drinking pretty regularly, nowadays I'm just having a couple glasses of wine with dinner every now and then. Thanks to my BF for this most excellent visual aid.

Considering that due to my allergy one beer could kill me, I don't know.

I honestly do not understand how alcohol could be in the least bit appealing.

Five rum and cokes got me wasted on St. Patty's.

[snickers] But really, that's nothing. I can't get BUZZED off a rum and coke with three shots of rum in it.. (Bacardi O seems to be more potent that regular rum...)
