What is it with Ohio weather?

Every year here in Ohio, it's the same predictable weather cycle.
Spring is full of freezing rain and snow (that's right, snow in April)
It stays like that until the first day of May, when the weather gets so damn hot and humid you want the freezing weather back. Then the moment summer ends, it becomes superstorm season
.
Then winter comes, and it's incredibly cold up until Febuary, in which it will turn 80 degrees for 4 days then switch back into winter weather.
Repeat ad nasuem.
Take this last week for example. I woke up Sunday finding it was 80 degrees with a nice light wind and plenty of sunshine. Same weather lasted until Wendsday night at 8, when all of the sudden the temparture dropped 60 degrees in 2 hours, and snow clouds floated in. Next day, the ground is covered in light snow, and then it sleets.
I swear I'm living in another diemension devoid of weather that makes sense.

Bah, that's nothing. In Buffalo, we have two weather patterns: hot/humid/sunny, and snow/hail/freezing rain. Nothing in between.

Most of the mid-west is like that, though. I spent my first 14 years in Hamilton, just north of Cincinnati, and know what you're talking about.
But Kansas is worse. From November to April, it can be anywhere from warm and sunny, to absolute blizzard. And those conditions can change in a matter of hours.
I like it here in Arizona. Nice and predictable.

We're having pretty bitchy weather in PA too. Last week, it was near 80, and a few days after that, tehre was freezing rain.
But that's nothing to this time I was in Arizona. I went out for dinner, and when I went in, it was sunny, and by the time I got out, a big storm that knocked out the power had gone through.
