And So the Mighty Have Fallen (in your face Dallas!)

HOCKEY RELATED
I repeat: IN YOUR FACE DALLAS! Thats right folks, Dallas falls to second in the league (apparently they lost some game), and Detroit steps up to first, gaining on Ottawa with each game.
More Cup Craziness today, in fifteen minutes the Detroit Red Wings will demolish the Chicago Blackhawks, a pitiful little band of tenth leaguers. Chicago has won a miniscule 29 games, to the Wings' 48. There loss record is equally astounding 33 to the Wings' 20. Round it out with double the OT losses as the Wings (Chicago has 6), you can see where this one is going fast.
PREDICTION: Wings and Ottawa will sweep through the playoffs, taking each series in 4 games, before meeting each other in the Stanley Cup Final, where the Detroit and Ottawa will duel down to Game 7, where in OT Yzerman will score the final point of the NHL season, assited by Federov! Wings take home the Cup again, and we can expect to see a repeat of the above for many years to come.
ARE YOU READY HOCKEY TOWN?

Ottawa!?! In the cup finals!?! Not enough grit; they won't get out of round two. Detroit is in a different situation. Although, they look to be playing Edmonton in the first round am I correct? That should be a good series.

Ottawa in the cup finals? The Leafs beat their worthless asses with an AHL farm team last year, that's how much Ottawa sucks in the playoffs. And Detroit without their Canadian players ain't gonna go too far either. Take away Yzerman and Shannahan and they'll be gone by the 3rd round.
Now if Pat Quin benches Lumme's and Berg's worthless asses the Leafs will have this cup won for sure. Stupid Lumme and Berg coughing up the damn puck in front of the net every fucking game, bench their worthless asses and get the St. John's boys back in there like last year.

*makes a frown so large it would give Jesus a heart attack* The playoffs are around the corner, this game won't change the fact that we're gonna be in it. 'Twas an upset, thats all. Happens occaisonally. Curse those Chicagoans...we'll see you next year punks...

Well, as the Sens will loose many of their top players to the Islanders, they wont advance past the 2nd round. Leafs normally swwep the Sens.

Unbeliever! And you live in St. Pete, of all places, IIRC! The place with the newspaper that renamed the Ice Palace!!
As for saying the Bolts will go nowhere, that's what they said about the Bucs. And look how THAT turned out!

Yeah, but there's a difference. Ice hockey in Florida's unnatural. Football's not unnatural; we're the big flat state with a bunch of grass. Ice just does not naturally occur down here. In my case, I'm a
Philadelphia Flyers fan...Not sure how loud I should say that, considering the geographical makeup of the board

Safety Harbor, but close enough. And yeah, the Bolts used to play at the ThunderDome too (Tropicana Field is a dumb name, and it isn't even a true field!)
And yeah, but the Lightning aren't as good as the Bucs were. That said, I'm going to the game tomorrow

Ooh! We did?!? I didn't see the results...all right!!! Maybe Chechmanek's finally learning to play under pressure. He's what, 4-8 in playoffs now?
