It's in theaters now. I went into the city last night to see it on a huge screen in a huge theater (in NYC!). Definitely worth it, and the dubbing isn't that bad at all. Very good experience overall.

Dalton, where is it showing in the city?

I went and saw the first showing of it in the Greater Detroit Area. It was a hell of a lot of fun, and there were a pair a fan girls decked out as characters. One Faye and the other Electra. Sexy.

You should have asked when I mentioned I had tickets for it on Friday  Hotfoot bought those off me. I saw it at the Loews E-walk on West 42nd and 8th. In a HUGE stadium theater.

Huge and nearly empty too. Must have been because of the 11:15pm showtime on a Sunday night.

Kickas...to just see a New Bebop.

Though Lucky bastard...I got a overgrown TV screen and a theatre that held at most 100 people.

Ah, yes, I walk past that theater twice every day during my morning commute.

Have a very nice day.

I've been there, good theather. My personal fave is the Loews in the Sony Theather at 68th and Broadway, have seen all the LOTR movies there so far for the midnight shows.

Cool, is it a digital theater? Maybe we can get a few of the NYC SDnetters together and see it in December.

I think one of teh only digital theathers in the city, that is acceptable to me in screen size, is the Ziegfield. I've watched all the SW movies there.

There's quite a nice one out my way, in Farmingdale, that I've seen a few movies digitally in.

Where's the Ziegfield?

Ziegfield is on 54th between 5th and Sixth. Its the theater that the news casters in teh city always go to when the SW movies are coming out and you have the losers camped out before hand. Its MASSIVE in there.

Let's see if my city-sense is building at all...would that be considered the Upper-West side?

3, 2, 1 LETS SPAM:

In your face Stravo! Islanders got their asses handed to them by the Wings! I know you were watching that game, and boy howdy did they get whooped! And Dalton here (apathetic as he may be....) too, oh yeah, two birds - one stone. God I love hockey.

Anyways, boards are moving slow, so now I guess I'm gonna go read the next chapter of Twilight War (damnit! you've already got me back!).

Oh and, I guess kinda on topic, I'm going to go see it at A&M theatre (I think thats the one) in a couple of days with some friends. No spoilers now, y'here!

More like midtown. I work right by the theater. Upper West side would be like the 70's on up to about 116. Then you start Harlem, then Washington Heights.

Damn, it's nowhere in Georgia either. I wouldn't mind seeing Faye on the big screen.

Me and a couple of friends planned to see it, but no nearby movies were showing it

I don't suppose one of the theaters would happen to be anywhere NEAR Western New York...would it?

Nevermind, Kelly. You and I can take solace in the fact that the module I did in protein engineering allowed me to make nanomachines that seek out and terminate the mental functions of those that saw the Bebop film at the cinema.

Except it won't work on Dalton, it turns people into gibbering wrecks, hard to do to someone already in that state. :)

One good thing, I already have the movie on reserve at Suncoast. :D
