Stupidity. A month after 9/11/01 I was flying back to Toronto from Newark Airport after visiting my GF. They still had the soldiers with M16's standing around and they searched everyone for knives, nailclippers, scissors, or any other sharp object. After getting onto my plane, they handed out
metal knives and forks with our in-flight meals. Duh-duh-Dumbass! What the fuck did they search us for then?

Lets see... A pilot can crash a plane on final approach, smash the rudder peddals so hard and quickly that the plane breaks up, use the fire axe in the cockpit to take over, or use the fire arm they are registered to carry on the plane, but they can't have nail clippers.
