Post by TrailerParkJawa »

One of the damaged A-10's in Iraq was flown by the daughter of a San Jose city council member. Its a good story and there are links for pictures too.

I think some pilots will trade their F-16,F-18 and other faster model for the A-10. 8)

Is it just me, or are female fighter pilots one of the coolest concepts ever? They should have been flying a hell of a lot sooner than '93, if you ask me.

NASA starts Mercury Program.

first run of tests discover that due to the bodyfat, and extra pint of blood women make better pilots/astronauts....

Air Force and NASA classify the report until the late 1980's.

any questions.

I lived near there for 10 years before moving to Fremont.

I saw in the news today that one of the Marines that helped pull down the statue of Sadam in the news yesterday is from the Bay Area too.
