It seems he decided two days ago to pop back in after months of absence and start acting like a total twat. He was a pretty moronic, subjective eloquence-whore back then, but now he's simply spamming the board like he's the only dumbass to ever say the baseless garbage he is.

I'd like to see him try and sit still for some kind of debate, though.

I think someone might have hacked his account. He didn't act like this before.

It takes some work to piss me off, and even when enforing rules of behavior on him, I have tried to be civil and reasonable.

I say give him a VI title. A ban would be too extreme as of now, and shouldn't be considered until his behavior gets worse than it is now, and goes on for a long period of time.

Although we should consider banning him if he starts getting aggressive.

I definitely think that he should be titled, but I would go so far as to say that a banning is in order. The problem with this particular troll is that he doesn't contribute ANYTHING to the board. None of his posts even warrant the attention of the senior debaters and top members, and most are well below the threshold of newbies to the board. There is simply NOTHING that he brings to discussions or debates, and he seems to take every opportunity to flame "rabid Warsies" without presenting evidence or refuting counter-arguments while flaunting the rules regarding which forums to post in and even insulting the PURE STAR TREK forum as being a "concentration camp." He's obviously taken DarkStar's laughable World War II analogy to heart, and his arguments bespeak the same thing.

Some of his posts are quite amusing, though. I, persoanlly, laughed my ass off while reading the "Ode to Darkstar". I say we keep him around for amusement purposes.

You realize I was being facetious in that first bit, don't you, Nitram? You know I don't write in that voice for any serious purpose. And no, indeed, no mollycoddling. One thing this board has indeed taught me is that lessons learned in pain are always remembered. Sort of the Samurai approach to a critical thinking course, only without all the yelling. (Out loud, that is.)
