Heard on the Radio:
High School Shooting at John McDonough High School in New Orleans. Sounds like a Gangsta Drive-by Shooting, one student dead and three wounded.

No, this is a purely Gangsta G-DoGGGGG Thug Shooting.

The three other students were all girls, and they all were shot, too. One shot twice... It sounds like the bastards came in from OFF CAMPUS, attacked their target, and didn't give a flying fuck who else they hit! I hope they get either the Death Penalty, or they get Vigilante'd!

Einy they have Ganstas in New Orleans?? I only know the Bourbon street area like any good tourist but not much else of the city.

As you can see, I am extremely angry at the Shooting, and my misadventures with Sleep and the Quake Minister Poll Trouble aren't helping. I get the feeling today that I'm gonna be playing lots and Lots and LOTS of Quake today, and I'll most definitely be tapping the Dark Side of the Force...

I went there on vacation, stayed in the French Quarter, mainly, but got on the wrong trolley and took a bit of a detour.

I will take, uhm, anywhere I believe (sans maybe LA or NYC) over New Orleans, now...

Erm...I can say from personal experience I would prefer LA to most of Nawlins.

And Einy, I think that since railguns don't exist yet, a few shotgun blasts to the crotch may be the best punishment I can think of for them off the top of my head.

I've heard that New Orleans has among the highest (-the- highest?) murder rates in the USA. That said, school shootings have never shocked me. Disgusted and dissapointed and saddened, sure, but when people are killing each other every day by the thousands in other countries I'm never very suprised when a few stupid kids pick up their guns and kill each other... I can't really support the death penalty in good concience, but I certainly hope justice is done etc.

No, I don't want to argue about the death penalty here, possibly in SLAM. Tommorow.
