I work out on a regular basis anyway. I don't change my routine for summer. *shrugs*

Tryto LOL... Cursed with the good genes, eh?
Faram, FYO I am a certified trainer now and a body builder so if you need some help, just let me know. Just off the top of my head, if you need to lose some weight the first thing you have to do is change that diet. If you want to go all the way, I would suggest doing some research and, instead of three big meals, eat several smaller ones during your day. Start eating protein shakes or bars too to curb those cravings for sweets.
The next thing to do is increase your physical activity levels.
This is the hard part because, for me, running on a treadmill is damn boring. Try something you like. I practice Tae Kwon Do and wrestle; both of which are great cardio work outs.

YAY - waterskiing season is here! So on top of running, I'll be skiing a lot more.

My doctor just put me on a diet, because a blood test I did at work as part of 'Wellness Week' showed a triglyceride level of 500+ on a scale of 1-150.
So... while I've been walking 3/4- 1mile daily the past month (had to wait for good weather) and take the stairs every day (3 flights at a fast walk)... I am now on a Low Fat, Low Cholesterol Diet.
No Whole Milk.
No Ice Cream or Ice Milk, or other desert with Whole Milk.
No Gravy, Cream Sauces, or Cheesy Sauces
No Hotdogs, Hamburgers, Luncheon/Processed Meats.
No Sugary Caffeinated Drinks
No Fried Foods
And worst of all: No Chocolate!!!

Lady, if you get your physical activity level up, you will feel great. Once your body switches into the working out gear, you will have so much energy you won't know what to do with it.

Same thing here, it's kinda bad when my GF weighs more than me, if only by a couple pounds. Problem is I can't gain weight unless I spend my life in the gym lifting weights all day, and I just don't have the dedication for that. I'd much rather be outside biking, rollerblading, running, and other such stuff instead of being inside a gym pumping iron.

I've always been thin, but I've been gaining weight recently, and I'm concerned. Also, I have almost no muscle. I'll try changing that this summer.

Yeah, I was born with a slight frame.. I'm fit, don't get me wrong.. but I feel the need to put on a few more pounds to at least flesh myself out..

I do gymn 3x a week, and bike at weekends. Last week I checked my stats at the gymn.
Body fat: 7.1%.
Weight:76 Kg.
Height: 1.86 m.
Heart beat rate at rest: 59/min
I'm in shape, I think

My job is physically demanding at times. Moving 40-pound baskets of dripping metal parts into the dryers can be a real pain in the neck sometimes.
Aside from work, I do a lot of jogging. I used to bike, but then a pickup ran over my bike (never caught the asswipe).

Pretty good! I have a lower resting heart though, it's about 53/min right now but it was under 50 when I was still swimming competetively and doing 4-5 hours of training every day. I'm in better shape than my BF but he can still beat me going up almost every hill when biking with all the little tricks he knows. The only time I can catch him is on a long multi-mile uphill where I can use my better fitness to full advantage.

You show him
There's more to biking than jumping and neat tricks.
I have a moderately high heart rate, but I can't help it, it's genetic. It has never bothered me, though I have never competed seriously. On the minus side, I could use much more elasticity and being thin I need to keep injecting energy into the organism if I'm riding more than four or five hours.

Unless you or anyone of your family have /has heart problems, don't think much of it. You're young, the heart can handle the effort. Just don't try to be a hero the first times you do something new.

In summer I go biking pretty much everyday, I got to do two 25k runs last week before the cold weather (and a cold virus) took me out for the next few days. I wish it would get a bit warmer, its just a little too cold for the cycling jersey, and a little too warm with the cycling jacket.
In winter (and in general) I do some basic exercises and weights several times a week.

With that resting heart rate and that body fat percentage...damn skippy you're in shape.

Yeah, but that's because she always gets my superlight race bike and I'm riding my heavier "fun" bike, it's not fair!
But seriously, she'd still beat me up the long hills anyways even if we traded bikes, my superior pedaling and shifting techniques can only go so far towards evening things up. Thing is I'm too lazy to train these days so my fitness isn't as good as it was when I was racing a few year ago, but my skills are a lot better than before.

I prefer to waltz out on the beach with my bulbous beer gut hanging over my fish-net speedos! Did I mention that my back is a shag rug?

My summer cardio activity: Mark off an acre of woods and start hauling deadfall back to my backyard. After I clear an acre, I do another. Bonfire at the end of the summer.
