I hope there isn't already a thread about this. I just need some help. I don't really know how to make an avatar. First, if anyone has a good profile shot of an SSD, that would be appreciated. But then if someone could tell me how to resize it so it'll fit in a nice little box, It would be appreciated.

OK, how's that? I used "Scale Image" in GIMP to squash the image to 80x35, and then I used "Canvas Size" to pad it back out to 80x80.

Say, what do people think of mine, it seems a bit distorted to me though I only shrank it, the length-height ratio is the same.

Not to bad, though the small size prevents me from identifying the current one. I guess British, and armed with 13.5-inch guns, possibly an Iron Duke since it looks like it has a heavy secondary battery. But I could be totally wrong.

Well the pity with the dreadnoughts is that they're long but not very high so I have to make them so small they're almost unidentifiable.

Btw this one's the Austrian-Hungarian 'Szent Istvan' with 4 triple 12"x45 turrets as primary armament.
