Like the spam today, eh? Well, me too, I must get Jedi Master before I go to bed. Anyways, yeah I used to go camping. Like, in a tent, not that dumbass RV-park shit. Haven't lately though.

Oh yeah. Used to go at least once month but not so much anymore. Still love going though.
And anyone that says RVing is camping gets a steel-toed boot to the head.

Does Holiday Inn count......
Hell no I dont go camping, there is a reason we invented beds, pillow top mattreses and goose-down comforters, the ground is FUCKING HARD. Add in to that the indignity of eiether shitting over a log or in one of thoes Cuthulu-spawned shit pits the Parks service jokingly refers to as a 'restroom'''s and I'll confine my idea of 'roughing it' to only having basic cable and thoes annoying Martin Mull infomercials at the Red Roof.

I only camp occasionally, when I find it advantageous to do so. But one thing that I've learned through almost two years of playing UT is that you always need to keep moving. (Timing the weapon respawn helps, especially when going for something like the Redeemer.)
Oh, wait, you were talking about real-life camping?

Yeah, I'd go camping alot and blow shit up with my shotgun. It was fun. I don't go that much anymore but sometimes I still go to camps fishing.

Oh yea , I love camping & hicking.
Going to "Kebnekajse" this year, It's swedens highest mountin in the middle of a huge national park "Abisko".
Summer there is fantastic, it's way over the arctic circle so it has a midnight sun.
Also things are quiet the nature is awersome.
Some photos:

I just came back from spending the (long) weekend in a tent at the beach, drinking booze, swimming in cold water and catching some rays, away from civilization and stuff like hot showers and refrigerators. It's pretty cool.

No, because we have civilization for a reason.

Camping's cool every once in a while, but I'm not about to make a habit out of it.

Go quite often. Has been a while since I went last, but I still love to go.
Probably the most interesting time I have been camping was on top of a 13,000 foot pass in the Rocky Mtns. Me and my father were doing some trail riding in our 4WD truck, and found a good place to camp there on top of the pass. Got a bit cool at night (~30 F, middle of July), but still fun as heck.

I love camping, but never get to go camping often enough. Most of my friends hate it, and most of my family hates it, so I have no one to go camping with these days.

I grew up in rural Canada, with forests, swamps, and creeks being my primary "play area", and as such have never seen camping as a desirable vacation. I much rather see the squeaky-clean concrete of Las Vegas, or the sandy beaches of California, something that's a nice change of scenery.

Almost never.
*Re-reads thread* And what's worse, someone already made the 'camping? Oh, in
real life' joke...
