Supposing your Mum found out about SDNet, and became interested in what you have posted here so far. What percentage of your posts would you show her?

My mom approves of very little that I do for leisure, so I would not show her any significant amount of my posts. She would freak out at my anti-religious posts, and the only ones she might approve of would be some of my stuff in Politics, defending American foreign policy.

I'll take a fur coat and some snowshoes, please...

So what's the worst possible post she could read?

About 10-20% or so might be viewable

I'd probably be comfortable showing my parents anything I posted after I lost the VI title -- but since I don't really remember when that was exactly, I'd say anything after January of this year.

Strangely, I'd probably never show her the Dangerous Fun thread, or the web site it spawned, unless it suddenly became critically important to somebody's survival that she know about it.

Any of them. Or all. Anyway she can't read english.

Although my mom (:P) really wouldn't care that much. Utsanomiko did actually show her one of my recent posts when I tore into a moronic Eva fan recently, though.

She probably wouldn't care, but I wouldn't be comfortable showing her the stuff I've said about porn (she's technically Catholic, so we must be sensitive of her primitive ways).

So I say 40%-59%, though my life wouldn't really be altered if she saw everything.

I have no idea...maybe around 40-50.

Anything more and I would be pushing it.

100% But I am 33 so she could not possibly object or do anything if she did object.

I should also add that she and my dad already know about Utsanomiko and I being members of SD.N, since we sometimes mention it in conversation.

But I would probably show most, seeing as though I try and keep my language at a safe level, and don't participate in to many 'Trinity vs. Mary Poppins' analogous threads.

Anyhoo, my mum would likely be interested in the science and proper debate posts I make, but anything involving sci-fi, sex or me being a blithering idiot (90%+) will be pointless to show.

I would not show any of it to my Mum. For the simple reason that I have a strict policy of separation of family and all other aspects of my life.

Only the stuff in the SLM forum, everything else is full of stuff she'd give me a hard time about.
