You can poke when I stop poking you for poking others.
*poke*
On a completely unrelated note, the American spelling of "color" for the colour tags is still annoying despite the 4 years I spent in an American university where i tried to adapt to the usage of americanized words.

Posts play a small part, but what really matters is how long you've been here. I'd say you'd have to be here about a month and have over 50 posts to be able to poke. Don't worry, you'll get there sooner than you think.

Technically, 50 posts is when the newbie title goes off and youngling comes in.
But in terms of experience, you're don't really start to lose that newbie status until you hit 500 posts. At 1500, you get the highest non-custom rank on the board, hence newbie status pretty much is gone by then.
And once you hit 3000, all traces of newbiehood is gone from you and you may as well be considered a vet.

Don`t tell how he will try to break the 500 post in less than a week.

When we respect you, the way your threads are currently going that will never happen

If he really tries hard, he could, but a majority of those posts could be considered spam.
A really good way to rack up postcounts is to get into lots of debates, though this can get stressful.

Don't spam with these threads, poking isn't really that big a deal, just sit back and take it easy, and let the post counts come as they may(count++)
