Something for the guys to ponder...

NOTE: I have no idea whether or not the information I am about to impart is for real, but am merely posting it to start a lively debate.
A friend of mine told me that a guy can get 100,000 dollars for a testicle. They give you an implant of sorts to simulate the presence of the missing nad, and you still can have sex, and have children.
but there's a chance you could be in big trouble if you ever get testicular cancer. If you lose your remaining nut, most likely you would have to take drugs for the rest of your life to produce testosterone so you cna still have a functional sex life.
Would you do it for that amount of money?

If i was bankrupt, and i already had no hair and was badly disfigured from the horrible experiments conducted from donating my body to science.... then maybe i would consider selling one of my testicles. However, it just seems kinda wierd.... wouldn't that make you half a man ?

I'd like to see this replacement, must be quite the prosthesis given we can't make such constructs today.
$100,000 per testicle? Still not worth it, I'd rather have good sex and testostrerone than cash.
As for the drugs, yes, if you lose both testicles (and people have lost them to cancer or accidental injury) then you will need to take regular doses of testosterone to keep the body from altering due to other hormone effects. It could also effect your penis but I'm unsure of this, needless to say, you won't be having sex again as normal again.

You're a bit behind the times, testicular prosthesis have been around for some time now (10+ years).

A guy who has artificial balls can he still get stiff or does he have to take viagra.

Hell yes. $100,000 properly invested at my age could take care of my retirement before the end of my twenties.
I'll probably never get any anyway, so it's no big deal for me.

What I would do: Not sure; the fear of testicular cancer would make me hesitate. Like I said, there are drugs that cna take care of an absence of testicles, and potential side effects of the drugs are waht worry me the most.

Neuticles have existed for pets since the CTI corporation brought them out.
They are in no way like natural testicles which was the whole point, I don't see how having a solid ball of silicone to look like a testicle is a worthy replacement. Without the proper biology, they are just looking pretty gimmicks, I prefer the real thing.

I certainly wouldn't do it in my thirties, either. But I'm only 19 now, and $100,000 now is a lot more valuable than it will be in 10 or so years.

I am thinking this is an urban legend. I have heard it before, but the sum then was $50,000. Besides that...why would anyone need a testicle anyway?

One wonders. You certainly couldn't reproduce yourself with it, it would still be someone else's spunk.

I'd rather get into the gigalo business.

For those insane enough to contemplate it, one testicle is okay, but lose both to your greed and you'll be on artificial testosterone therapy for the rest of your life and you can forget kids.
But you'll have no libido and anger levels will be down, but you'll also practically turn into a woman.
Still want the cash?

No, one testicle is essential. And if by some act of God (made even more improbable by his nonexistence) I find a woman and get married, I would like to have children.

For 100 grand I'd do it. I mean, it's not like there's a huge chance of getting testicular cancer and all my money problems would be solved. I'd get a new car, a new computer, move into a decent apartment, and invest the rest.

Bare in mind that you won't get that testicle back regardless of your bank balance, the technology doesn't exist yet. If the other fails, you're in a pile of shit. That's why there are two, redundancy measure.

Can I get a hell no?

$100,000? Yeah I'd probably do it. As long as I got that replacement. $100,000 would go a long way towards guaranteeing my retirement, especially with this shitty economy, while they're at it they can have one of my kidneys.

It would be very, very tempting. I mean, my chances of ever getting laid have been calculated out to approximately two percent over my entire lifetime (assuming a 90 year lifespan.) And, whoo, what a nest-egg $100,000 would be!

I don't think I'd give up a nad, I've got too much to live for at this point.
