What are some things that just don't make any sense?

For me, this makes me wonder:

1. Those "Not sold in stores" miracle products
I've seen the infomercials for some of these products, and if they work as claimed, then they could get rich off of them. But why do they decide to sell it through infomercials at 3 AM instead of putting it in stores? I'm sure selling it in stores would make them a lot more money.

Showing commercials in a movie theater. Like when I saw X2, there was a Powerade commercial, although it had Matrix influences, obviously. But who's gonna remember ANYTHING about that commercial after they watch a two hour long flick? I eventually remembered it about a day after the showing (I was really pumped about X2, and it was all I could think about for a long time after seeing it), but I still find it pointless.

Save commercials for the TV, where people actually care about it (or mute it, therefore they don't care about it, but I digress).

Commerical in theatres just fucking piss me off(I'm not paying $10 to see ads from TV enlarged)

But what makes me go hmm are reality shows. I just don't see the appeal.

Yes, TV ads in the theater piss me off to no end also. TV is a free medium for us (sort of) because the advertisers pay for it. We have to watch their fucking commercials.

WE are paying to go see movies in the theater, and they expect us to watch their fucking ads? Fuck them and their stupid products. God I hate it how these fucking corporations are taking over...

I don't get why I need four years of English to graduate. My mastery of the English language is fine, and I'd like to concentrate on other things, thank you very much.

The fact that The Real Cancun only grossed 2.1M last weekend. It was quite a shock to me; I thought there was no hope for the American people, and then the most retarded looking movie ever fails spectacularly.

Is that the one with Jamie Kennedy?

I think there's an explanation to that. It's probably cause the people thought why waste money watching something they could see on TV?

What doesn't make sense with to me is the location of all the Liberals you see people rant about and hear about on the news. Most of my friends are quite liberal as are a good bit of my family. But none of them display the weird nonsensicalness of the so-called "Liberals", none of them are socialists or communists nor act very much like them, most of them do much want the government in their life, and they hate PC bullshit every bit as much as I do. It may be just me, but it seems like the "Liberals" that people talk about don't actually exist all the time... they just pop into reality like virtual particles, throw lots of pretentious 10,000 dollar a plate parties, suggest retarded bills, edit text books, and then cease to existance in a burst of dumb radiation equal to the amount of intelligence they sucked from the world. Because I've never met them.

Young women going out with men about 10 years their senior. Ugh.

Emphasis on if they worked. In reality most couldn't get any store to carry them, and don't have the money to pay for the large inventory that would require. That all because they dont work.

Practically every facet of life is weird, the more you think about it.

b) decent pork scratchings

Why US people think Democrats and Republicains are very different when they are not (one lies to you alot ex:Grey Davis and Clinton, and the other screws you hard ex: Bush) (And they both make the Rich Richer)

There's only one good place in NSW to get deep fried Mars Bars, and that 3 hours away.

You can't get deep fried mars bars any more because they clog up the deep fat frier's filters, so i have heard.

Things i dont get:

Key Skills/General Studies

Dinner Lady Logic, that is, logic that relies on their unstable state of mind, and strict adherance to rules that change minute-to-minute, and arguments that rely entirely on "BECAUSE I SAID SO!"

Managed to get a Deep Fried Mars Bar in Cardiff, but that was only because we were bored and decided to see if we could find one. We failed, but it was Sunday, so I bought a Mars bar from the Newsagents and strolled into a chip shop and got the guy to batter it for me. He even did it for free, which was nice of him. Although I think he was just bemused.

No, they still sell them, my mate sent me a text from Edinburgh saying he found one, they actually don't melt or anything as long as you dont put them in for too long, about 5 mins and a light coating of batter and it tastes suspiciously like a profiterole...

And Key Skills is pointless. End of story. I did English at A-level, and we were doing communication as a key skill, so essentially, all I had to do was write a couple of essays and was excused the exam because I was doing an subject which required essays anyway.

General Studies, I quite like, free A-level, no revision needed, all it really does is test you to see if you write an essay on-the-fly, have to say, it was one of the more enjoyable exams I did at A-level.
