Can you make $$$?.

Has anyone ever taken part in a "get paid to take surveys" site??. I am thinking of joining one. Supposidly you just answer some questions about how much you spend on certain types of products, how often you buy the stuff etc. My question is: is this legit??. Can someone really make money by participating in this stuf?. I know it sounds "too good to be true", but if someone could earn extra cash by doing it I say, "why not".

Yeah, one time I got an E-Mail specifically asking me to come do an online survey relating to Athens area apartments. It was worth ten bucks, so I figured what the hell. It was a LONG survey; eventually I got bored and just starting clicking shit randomly to get through. I still got paid.

Yep, they are legit, usually.
Not the ones you see ads through in spams, mind you, but ones that are through respectable corporations.
I have taken polls, and gotten paid, from corporations such as Harris Research, Vividence, and GoZing Surveys.
