Is this our Mike Wong?

Okay, saw this posted over at SB.com and was reading the peoples responses at the bottom of the article. One is from Michael Wong, engineer from Canada, and deals with evolutionism vs creationism. Could be a huge coincidence, but I was curious.

And here I thought the 'thought police' were confined to the US.... That article flat out makes me sick. Where are the people that say "Ohh, that offends little suzy-q because they didn't like the way it was worded? Too fucking bad!"?

1. Yes, it most definetly is Mike Wong.
2. This article has been posted here before.

Sounds kind of like Mike.
And if I feel offended at not getting and A in a class, can I sue to get one?

Well, the only way we could know for sure is if we ask him if it's his.
And, on the topic of the article, if 1984 is banned from schools, is it because it's "offensive to people that don't live in police states", "depicts brutal dictatorships in a negative manner", or because "It gives away our plan for schools across the country"?

I'd say that 1984 discriminates against censorship.
BTW, apparently Orwell just got the dates wrong

Some of the things in the article seem a bit exaggerated. Mountain climbing stories are banned because they discriminate against kids living in flat areas?! Dolphins banned because they discriminate against kids that don't live near the sea?! I refuse to believe there are people in the world that are that mind-numbingly stupid. They almost seem like jokes.
Help, I'm scared.

I'm in my 4th reading of it. It's the the book I always want to be in the state of reading (I think the last two times I finished it, I just started over again).
I need to read it more often. Everyone should. It should be required reading for every even-numbered grade past 4th.

Well reading that made me feel sick to my stomach, sounds like an old sketch from Fast Forward (Or SNL for the Americans)

If you're forming a League Against Political Correctness, I'll join it!

I'm glad Master Mike and the rest of the responses either mock or scathe the decision. It's been posted before, but this time we've noticed our fearless leader.
Ultraviolence, Simon H. Johansen; I think that an anti PC league is just what the doctor ordered

Uh, I probably wouldn't go
that far, but I would't hesitate to beat the shit out of anyone who suggested political correctness to my face.

Okay - it's time to decide who's what?? I'd like to be chief of the Pro-Cloning Debate Team, as long cloning isn't politically correct. Or the "Youth Anti-Censorship Brigade."
