Ok all you studs, how many of you have a subscription to Playboy? And how many of you read the articles?
The greatest part about Playboy is the playmates' turn-ons and turn-offs. The turn-offs are always stuff like 'mean guys,' or maybe 'smokers.' But the turn-ons are always vague. They don't come right out and say 'nine-inch penis,' 'Bentley,' and 'owns a hotel or two.' Instead, they say stuff like 'good sense of humor' or 'likes music and walks on the beach.' Meanwhile, some guy who works on a loading dock thinks, 'I like the beach, I'm funny, and I love that music! We were made for each other!' Then he renews his subscription.

Playboy is for losers. If you want porn, get real porn. If you want articles, get real articles. Don't half-ass it.
Don't get me wrong, I have immense respect for Mr. Heffner and Playboy and what they've accomplished, but the product isn't currently worth paying for.

I've had a look, I actually do read the articles, the pics do little for me.

Oh, you're preaching to the choir, bro. It's like I always say, "I don't trust a man who uses his imagination when masturbating. Not in this day and age of DVD's."

The turn-on and turn-off lists are part of the fantasy.
They have to make the turn-ons seem something that any ugly sumbitch could provide, and they have to make the turn-offs so generic that only a crazed self-lacerating inmate couldn't qualify as a potential partner for these girls.
If they REALLY wanted to be honest (and there's no reason why they would, since their business depends on you thinking that the models are trying specifically to entice YOU as you stare at them), they would come right out and write:
Turn-offs: Guys with no money. Guys who aren't good looking. Guys who aren't smart. Guys who aren't witty. Guys who aren't submissive. Guys who aren't dominant. Guys who aren't sensitive. Guys who aren't pussies. Guys who aren't into committment. Guys who won't love me forever.
Turn-ons: Hugh Hefner (It's part of the job to sleep with him), my jerky boyfriend, who actually meets only one or two of my criteria, but with whom I am self-destructingly emotionally attached and who won't let me break up with him in a million years because he wouldn't DARE lose his ability to say that he's sleeping with a Playboy girl.

You have to when you live with your family. Magazines and websites are monitored, and my mother and brother have a semi-monopoly on the DVD and TV. 3+ more years to college......

Playboy is crap. Playboy is only one step up from FHM and thats not a good thing. If your wanting porn your already on the darkside and there's no point being coy about it now.
Try Cheri Undercover or something like that.

TO be honest my need for porn has dissapeared lately. It's been a good while since my last relationship and my sex drive is slipping. My theory is that my sex drive is kinda like my stomach. When it;s not getting fufiled it shrinks to compensate.

I like Playboy. The women tend to be more attractive than the average skank, and there are no macroscope viewings of the female anatomy (sorry, that kind of stuff just doesn't do it for me).

I like Playboy. I've got a three or four of them. I'll usually only pick them up if the cover girls catchs my attention.
I like the more artistic look of their nudes. A classy nude is a lot sexier than the gynecological look in a lot of porn. To me a woman spreading herself like she's getting read for a OBY/GYN exam isn't sexy at all.

Stormbringer and Durran Korr have stated my position exactly. I love subtlety and artistry, not displays of gaping holes. And a lot of the girls in the other mags can be pretty randomly skanky. Yeah, yeah, I know "its more real" and "that's who you're more likely to meet in real life" but shit, I have no problem meeting girls in real life, so when I go look at Playboy I am purposefully seeking a fantasy image, and I am aware of that. It's nice sometimes.
And porno movies do little for me. Talk about unrealistic images and expectations, geez...

And I pity the fools that consider a woman spreading her self wide enough to shove a midget up there erotic. And how the hell can anyone find a picture of woman's vangina taken with a telephoto lenses two inches away erotic is beyond me.

Speaking of Playboy, something just entered my mind: Are there adult magazines for old people? Like a "Playgeezer's 80 hottest women over 80" edition?
I apologize for any lifelong emotional scars the previous message may have brought you.

If I want artistic erotica (no skank mags), there are better choices than Playboy. Playboy haves way too few pages devoted to the women to be worth the cover price for the mag.
