Older TV shows

Post by Superman »

Anyone have any favorite older TV shows that were cancelled too early or that are simply not shown anymore?

I really like the old "Sifl and Olly" show that used to be on MTV. If you can remember, they were two sock puppets that had a sort of variety show.

Millenium. First season was great. Second, and only full, season was orgasmically fantastic. However, the final half season was a MAJOR letdown. Maybe it died when it should have.

Define older...

"I'm not a number I'm a free man"
"Exterminate!, Exterminate!, Exterminate!"

or even older
like the fact I am a fan of the longest running prime time drama
and a fan of the most occult themed soap.

Battlestar Galactica. Why has nobody mentioned it yet? (Although both sides could have used a lot more insight...)

Other than that, I'd agree about Knight Rider...

*bzzt*

The first one is a line from the TV show The Prisoner, which Iron Maiden did a song on over ten years later, in the mid-80s.

Second one would be Dr. Who.

Knight Rider: 5pm on SciFi Channel here in the States. The A-Team is on TNN sometimes but I don't know when.

woo hoo, they've been showing the original Charlie's Angels on a local channel here lately, lotsa fun! Cheesy 70's music, all the monster cars and the guaranteed car chase through the hills of L.A., the mere appearance of even the tiniest of guns stops everyone in their tracks (unless it's a car chase where only trunks and rear windows get shot), and Cheryl Tiegs in a bikini

The other day it was one of those cross-over episodes, a two-parter, where the Angels solved a case on The Love Boat. Totally surreal, Isaac serving mai-tais to the Angels.
