200+ tornadoes this week

I heard on the local news tonight there were 200 tornadoes this last week here in the Midwest, and almost 300 if you count the whole US. Yeah, it's spring and tornadoes are a fact of life here during spring and fall, but *sheesh*!! Four of the last seven days we've had severe weather, all which included tornadoes within 30 miles of my house, one of which left F4 damage. My only casuality so far has been my yard, which is too damn wet to mow but still growing like mad, so I consider myself lucky. I'm ready for some nice weather though.
It's funny, even though I've lived in the midwest most of my life, the only tornado that I've seen in person was when I lived in Nashville, and that one came within 6 blocks of my house. That was several years ago now, but I still get a pit in my stomach when the storm sirens go off.
I know there were big storms in the East this week, and flooding in the South, anyone else get crazy bad weather this week?
