If you went for a week or two without posting (without prior warning) how much do you think people would respond?

Threads are started asking where I am, hell that happened with warning. The people love there Great Leader.

Err, I'd hope some people would notice... I don't start too many topics, but I do post from time to time...

I say that a lot of people would notice.

Particularly since I know that they have noticed my absence when I haven't been on the board for a while.

No. I don't post here enough nor have I posted anything particularly memorable to get peoples attention.

I doubt it would register on the grand scale of things.

Well, I don't start many threads, and don't contribute much relative to my post count, so I'd say the only reason I wouldn't go unnoticed is because I'm usually on almost every day, and an absence of several weeks would get people wondering why I haven't posted anything.

I dunno, you may be noticed, you certainly strike me as a "first one" for posting, but I have spent a week or two off SB.com in the past due to holidays or work and not noticed any threads asking about me. Probably won't be the same here, mind.

I have a few friends I know personally who post here who would notice, and the STGOD would notice, but besides that?

I'm guessing that I could escape for a week or two without anyone noticing, but after a month people would begin to wonder and probably start a couple threads.

I would not discount the possibility of somebody noticing. Even though when I disappeared for over a week nobody seemed to notice. No doubt somebody did, but they just didn't talk about it. And the STGOD people knew what had happened a few days after I was gone, so there's no way of knowing about them.

If I were to be hit by a bus tomorrow, I'm pretty certain it would go unnoticed.

Probably not, I don't post much at all and what I do post isn't exactly memorable.
