In a nutshell, Homer rediscovers the joy of walking (after Judge Judy revocs his drivers license, to say the least) and Marge begins to hate him for the independence that he has. She tries to hurt/kill Homer for it and he tries to show her that he really loves her. Hence the line in my first post; he throws her a party with all of Springfield (minus Ned) and at the end he says as he throws the switch to his sprinklers "-now I would like to thank all of my friends for coming, now get the hell out of my yard-"
Or something close to that, my memory is shit on Rum.

I saw it, but the reception was bad. I still liked it, especially when Homer had a deep fryer, fog machine, and turntable attached into his car lighter. I also liked it when Flanders missed the party because he received a letter signed "Jesus (H. Christ)", as well as Mr. Burns giving him a ticket to the 1939 World Fair for getting to work early.

Watching it as we post. Kinda half watching , half posting. I like how Judge Judy feeds Homer's license to the dogs.

Ah, Homer. When will he ever learn? You know what I mean? It's like, once he found a tipped over sugar truck, took the sugar home and put it in the backyard. Oh, the hijinks that ensued...

[Fundie] Television is EVIL! [/Fundie]
Well, I don't watch much TV, although every now and then I miss seeing shows like "The Simpsons" or "ER" or "CSI" or "Charmed." And that would actually be about *all* I would watch, too. But there's WWE on Thurdays, but only because I drool over one guy in particular, and he's the *only* reason I watch wrestling.

The simpsons so aren't what they used to be anymore ... :/ .... it used to esily be my favorite show, but these last few seasons they've changed writers. First Conan O'brien left the show, and then phil heartman died... im just like
Well then... I think its time for the Simpsons to start winding down to an end now. Bart and Lisa seem to have a totaly different attitude than they used to... its like i dont even recognize them anymore, and ned just says wierd stupid shit now, they're so not as funny as they used to be. The funniest thing about last night is a reference they had to a few seasons ago, they look at a flyer for the 49 worlds fair, and it shows the sun globe filled with wigs that they nock over crushing the rent-a-car bart bought with nelson, millhouse, and martin. I think Matt should end the simpsons and concentrate on futerama now... its deffinitly fresher and funnier ( certainly not funnier than the simpsons in their prime) but its funnier than the simpsons are now. The simpsons are like the Micheal jordan of TV shows... perhaps the best ... but all things get old.... 'cept for imortals.....
..... i seem to have gone off track.... ~,~

HEATHEN! smacks you in the back of the head with a Krusty Brand
TM alarm clock.
Although i will agree that the charectors have changed over the years, i disagree with your statement that the quality has declined. The political satire, the broadway numbers....it amazes me that Matt Groening keeps chugging along at this pace.

So you're you're saying that this season is just as good as say... season 7 ( the one with the SHINNING episode in it ) ?

Futurama is now dead. Fox never liked it because they didn't own the rights. Its possibul the Cartoon network might pick it up, but even if it did there's enough unaired episodes to fill a full season because it was so often preempted.
