Real basic questions.. this test only covered plus strand RNA viruses.. so short answer, multiple choice, matching, true/false with questions about VPg, modifications, capping, families and such. A lot about polio.

Interesting, I have had no single virology test thus far, immunology had a module test though, I think I got 70% or something.

I just got 81% in a biotech worksheet and over 60% in a cellular comms. test.

Good luck on the rest of your course.

Nice, are those curved or not?

But yeah, cellular communications can be quite a bitch, developmental (especially NEURO developmental) is WORSE

Well each module contributes some 45% to each course in total, the other 55% is the exam I believe which is coming up.

But you're right, developmental studies are annoying, if I have to go through the development stages of a frog foetus one more time...

Got to love the Hydrology department in Environmental Science, not only did they place heavy emphasis on what would be in our last modular, they also held a revision session the day before where the lecturer literally told us that all of the stuff we saw on the papers he showed us would be repeated the next day...

Result - 82% or so, and that's because I made a couple of careless mistakes and used the wrong word once or twice... easiest 82% I ever got... :)

Actually I hate them, not the tests themselves but the wait between the test and getting the marks. The super easy tests always make me think I've missed something obvious, or that there was a trick question or a page I missed with an essay question on it, and until I have the final marks in hand I keep second guessing and doubting myself. I always end up with near perfect marks but I still can't shake that nagging feeling in back of my head.

Most of the time I liked essay tests much more than other types of tests. There are occassions where they can really suck, like when you write alot and think you have the subject covered well but unfortunately the professor has a different idea about what was important.
