Pure, unadulterated, spam?
In these days where it seems that just about everybody and their grandmother has post counts passing the 2000 mark, one may wonder "How in the hell did they get that high up." An obvious and easy way (though not the smartest way) to do it is high quantities of spam. So, how much of your post count is composed of that salty processed pork product?

PURE spam? Not very much.
Goofy halfway spam, about half my postcount, I'd guess.

To be on the safe side I voted 26-50, but that's probably on the lower end.

Roughly 10-15%, but then again I'm not always on topic, even in OT.
May also contain peanuts.

Not many of mine were spam, though more is nowadays. We need more threads like this.

The closest I'll get to regular spamming is participating in a TGOD thread. A real one, that is...
Well, fine, this entire thread is spam.

I try to avoid spam most of the time, although it would strongly depend on mood. However, most of what I type is simply what goes on in my head most of the time, and more specially is able to survive being put into words and typed. Furthermore, I usually avoid posting for sure pleasntry or ranting. Finally, the final amount of content may vary from a detailed analysis of apparently a nothing nobody cares about to a single word. Whether or not posts leaning towards to latter tendancy is spam....

In order to answer this question, I analyzed the phpBB database and stripped out my posts. First, I put them through a heuristic algorithm to differentiate spam from real content. Then, I ran several keyword searches in order to pick up common spam terms.
Finally, I used a linear regression to plot the control function of spam content with respect to date, in order to look for obvious trends. After punching the numbers into a FORTRAN program designed to identify standard deviations in the statistical data set, I came to the conclusion that ... I like ice cream.
Hmmm ... I'll have to try that again.

I'ld like to think most of my posts arent spam.
I normally only reply to a thread when I think I have something to add, but I'm sure there are a few spam posts in there.

Well, I suppose in responding to this thread, which I didnt really have to do, I am automatically generating a form of spam, but I should point out, that all spam generated by me is lovingly handcrafted, lightly killed and garnished with larks vomit...

I pride myself in the fact that I don't spam. I can safely say that mine is in the 0%-10% range.

Well- THIS is a puzzle of a thread. I've got my eye on it.
And no, I don't spam. Even my pithy one-liners are terribly on-topic.

I'm a Supermod. Supermods don't spam. Despite this thread being pure spam, even this post is full of useful content.
