Well, since I've noticed all the yellow stars threads going around, all of them getting locked eventually, I would assume that people have something to say on the issue. However, the announcement thread was locked due to exccessive spam concerning Zaia's breasts, so there is nowhere for us to post our comments. So, let's use this thread (unless the announcement thread gets unlocked again).

I don't like it. Bright yellow stars don't exactly help accentuate a menacing avatar. If someone wants to know the seniority of someone else, look at their join date! Its all up there.

Frankly, people. There's nothing to discuss but the fact that I, owning four forums, clearly deserve at least one more of those yellow stars. The injustice of it all makes my heart bleed

I dunno... while it is handy on the one hand... on the other hand, it DOES interfere with the dark and disturbing avatars some of us have... plus, no matter what, I'll always be a couple of stars behind Utsano.

Mike, any way for them to choose whether or not to display these stars in their profiles?

I think they're cool, but perhaps the color should change, maybe to silver. And maybe instead of stars, we should get death stars instead.

Hey why not have special color stars for forum moderators.

Edit:I just thought about it white stars for members and yellow stars for moderators.

It's very easy for me to change the graphic; it's a 12-pixel high GIF with a transparent background. Anything which can be shrunk down and still look good at that size would be OK as far as I'm concerned.

I don't care what you do with the stars, so long as its cool.

A choice in the profile would be nice. (like imperial/rebel symbols)
Not that I care too much, but the yellow looks a bit naff.

The SubSilver yellow stars don't look too bad, actually.

Visually, the stars are so-so, but I like the idea; onnly naturally, since I have an abnormally low post count and joined in August.

I like the star idea. I don't mind the way they look. If you want to change them, I suggest little Imperial symbols.
