For some reason I'm suddenly Supermarionation mad as you can tell by my avatar.
But given this popular cult TV hit of the '60s which EVERY sane kid liked, which was your favourite Thunderbirds vehicle? be it one of the main craft or another one-off model.

I like the green one. Which one is that?
I like this show, the sets are cool. I never saw it as a kid. I dont know if it was not being shown, or just at a time when I could not see it.

As retro-cool as the I thought the Thunderbirds are, finding a site about them wasn't as easy as typing it in Google.
Anyway, try
here to get a closer look at the Thunderbird vehicles.
[edit]
I voted for "Other" as FAB 1 is pretty keen despite being pink.

Actually there are plenty of sites, just typing Thunderbirds gets all kinds of stuff from retro cars that I hate to the flight team (which I expect someone to mention as their favourite, for some reason).

As nice as T2 was, you can't beat the 15,000MPH, nuke powered Thunderbird 1 for getting you somewhere quick.

Why rush in when you can enjoy the ride.

Well I guess, TB2 was the most popular and Gerry's premier choice too, the whole take-off sequence and design was great, forward-swept wings for agility at lower speeds, lifting body shape and the twin-boom structure to hold the cargo pod.

Finally, a TB1 fan!
Fear the gyroscopically controlled, swimming pool launching rocket plane.

I watched Thunderbirds religiously as a child in the sixties.
"Kirano! Kirano! Immobilise the Automatic Camera Detector!"
Having an Evil Half Brother with mystic powers is a bitch!
The backlit "StunEyes" was classic.
"Five, Four, Three, Two, One. Thunderbirds are GO!"

I also vote for 2. It just has that "organic" look to it. I've only recently been able to catch the show on TV, just a little too young to have caught it originally.

Thunderbird 2 all the way, although, Thunderbird 5 and John's porn collection and recordings of dirty phonecalls are not to be underestimated...

Yeah but can it go several times the speed of sound, carry cargo pods with specialized rescue equipment or go into space and monitor phone calls?
Didn't think so.

I think a F-16 can go Mach 2. It's definately supersonic.

Mach2.0something in clean configuration. Of course, with to -Niners and the 20mm plinker you're not going to scare anybody...

Without any external stores it can touch mach 2 for a little while.

Any external stores? I always was under the impression it could do so while carrying the wingtip 'Winders.

Wingtip AAMs carry significant drag penalties, one of the reasons why the EFA has the AAMs like ASRAAM at the near end of the wing, not at the tip.
Best way is to have weapons internally like TB1.
