This is one of the mods that banned me when I challenged a members when he said "there is too many black people in the movie matrix." And yes I am right now cirumventing the ban they put on me.

" Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."


Notice, it says CONGRESS. So that means that the Federal Government of the United States of America cannot make laws preventing "Freedom of Speech".

It makes no reference to message boards that are owned and operated by an individual. And guess what. Swirve is owned and operated by an individual, who can determine what he wants posted, and what he doesn't want posted.

So. What this means is that if Swirve doesn't want it posted, you can't post it. If Swirve, or their agents, find your post offensive, or violating thier rules, they can delete it. They can delete your post, they can even ban you from posting.

You agreed to that when you signed up for an account to be able to post on thier boards. If you don't agree, then don't post.

But bottom line is that if Swirve doesn't like your post, they can delete it.

How much of that is the mod's quote? You really should use the Quote function, if you're not going to use obnvious indentations

But assuming everything after the 1st paragraph is his, I can't find anything at the moment that isn't technically true. If they wan't to run a board that accepts stupid, racsist comments and deletes criticisms of rascism, they can go ahead. Government-funded places have a lot of free-speech rights, but places run by individuals are another matter entirely, for the most part. WCOTC was the same way, but there was little to be done about it.

Did the poster dislike black people, or was he complaining about supposedly imbalanced ratios? If it's the second one, I'd say it balances the lack of black people in Woody Allen movies. But other than that, I don't get it.

EDIT: I should add that I hightly, serriously doubt you could be sued for poating material they don't accept.

thanks. Yeah I couldn't find anything technically wrong with it either, except I was pissed mad at the racism on that board. And Mehul isn't white is he, so he couldn't be sponsoring anti-black mods. Too bad the admins do care about what the mods do. Dammit I wish I could change the world. But for now I'm glad of this piece of paradise where racisim doesn't exist. I can hide here. Thanks again for your help, its a relief that I can't be sued.
